I design for people,
not for screens.

I'm Arthur Carvalho, a Senior Product Designer born in Rio de Janeiro and currently based in Madrid. I've been designing digital products for over a decade — from early-stage startups to scale-ups used by millions of people.

My background is in graphic design, which gave me a strong foundation in visual craft. But what I love most is the research side — understanding people, uncovering real problems, and designing solutions that actually change behavior. I call it design with both eyes open: one on the pixel, one on the person.

I describe my approach as systems thinking meets storytelling. I'm as comfortable running a discovery workshop as I am obsessing over a micro-interaction. The best products, I've found, come from a team that thinks rigorously and presents beautifully.

Outside of work, you'll find me hunting for vinyl records in flea markets, testing new sourdough recipes, reading literary fiction, or swimming somewhere in the Mediterranean.
